Job Title: Junior Analyst (Intern)
Job Location: On-site, Omaha, NE
Job Type: Part-time Internship

 

Junior Analyst, The Dynamic Data Group crew is looking for an entry level, Junior Analyst to join our hybrid team. This is an entry-level hybrid role between a business analyst, and a developer; ideally this will evolve into a full-time business intelligence analyst.

To be successful, the role will require the individual to assist in building dashboards and other visualizations to tell various client stories. This position offers paid training, which typically involves a combination of observing others and hands-on experience completing tasks under the supervision of your team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Quick Learner; capable of absorbing new information at a rapid pace and be able to show that you can apply what you learned.

  • Build dashboards, reports, ETLs, and other visualizations.

  • Data collection and creative problem solving.

  • Support multiple clients.

  • Work productively and efficiently in an independent hybrid/remote setting.

  • Clearly communicate progress on tasks to managers and associates.

  • Provide excellent attention to detail and work with the highest level of accuracy.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to communicate clearly, articulate problems/roadblocks, and willingness to learn.

  • Strong communication, great listening skills, ability to ask questions often.

  • Aptitude for business and a passion for numbers.

  • An interest in modern data analysis techniques and practices.

  • Demonstrable computer skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working towards (or complete) a 2y degree (preferably in business or a quantitative field).

  • Experience in programming (JavaScript/Python/SQL) a plus.
